This is a hand painted map of Basswood Lake and Basswood River of Northern Minnesota, Superior National Forest and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, BWCA.
I began with a vintage map of the lake, PRINTED the map on archival rag matte paper and then HAND PAINTED the map with museum quality watercolor. I have more Minnesota, BWCA and lake maps available in a variety of sizes and color palettes. (Click on 'Minnesota Maps' in my shop sections.) Don’t see the lake you're looking for? Please contact me as I have more locations available.
Any hand painted map can be custom colored with a palette of your choice, and many maps can be custom sized to suit your needs. My maps are a great way to document your travels or celebrate your life’s journeys. I’m happy to mark special locations for a personalized touch. Contact me and we can get started creating your customized map.
Watermark will not appear on map. Mat and frame not included.
