This is a hand painted map of Minneapolis, including the University of Minnesota, Cedar Riverside and Bohemian Flats neighborhoods, 1892. This map covers the area between Arlington/University Avenue in the north to 4th Street/Margin in the south and Cedar Avenue in the west to Oak Street in the east. This map also includes the Minneapolis Brewing and Malting Association near 20th and Bluff.
I began with a vintage map of the city, PRINTED the map on archival rag matte paper and then HAND PAINTED the map with museum quality watercolor. I have more Minneapolis maps available in a variety of color palettes. (Click on 'Minneapolis Maps' in my shop sections.) Don’t see the neighborhood you're looking for? Please contact me as I have many more locations available.
Any hand painted map can be custom colored with a palette of your choice, and many maps can be custom sized to suit your needs.
